Level-G Grappling “Hokushinetsu Open”

Level-G, Japan’s pro & amateur grappling league, launches a new nationwide amateur open series. The first stop is the Hokushinetsu Open on Sunday, 12 Oct 2025 at SAIGYM, Tsubame City (Niigata Pref.).

What is “Hokushinetsu”?

“Hokushinetsu” is a Japanese regional label that combines Hokuriku (Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui) and Shin’etsu (Nagano, Niigata)—the broader north-central area of Honshu. Many sports qualifiers in Japan use this grouping.
